A few changes in life

For some reason, life has changed over the past few weeks. I think it has something to do with this:

He is rather gorgeous and I think he knows it. I think we must have taken thousands of photos.

Nan left last week, he wasn't too happy about that. Took him a day or two to adjust.

Amy and I have nearly daily tea party's

Loving the new tea cups, thanks mum.

I've been doing a bit more baking, got to keep the new mum going.

We've had amazing weather the past week or so, although it is getting much colder in the mornings.

I saw this on my way home from work the other day, thought it was quite funny.

Starting quite a collection of shoes at work. It's the problem with catching the train and having to wear flat shoes then change at work.

Haha, just as i was writing this James was busy leaving his mum a present. She was well impressed! So was his Dad.

Well that's all for now.

Have a good week everyone.

Shopping among other things

When I first started work I was leaving home just as the sun was rising

It was quite lovely, but now I live a little further away and summer is over it's very dark when I leave home.

Anyway the early mornings have led to pay day. Which led to a 5 hour shopping trip (a very little one) which led to me spending everything I just got paid. Oh well it was fun while it lasted.
The results:

A new bedside cabinet

I'm getting a new bookshelf made which will look like this only taller

And a new iPhone. You don't need a picture, I'm sure you've seen them before.

And that's it. I have another whole month before my next pay day. I'll start saving then. Maybe.

Another catch up.

Mostly about work really. On our second day we went to the test kitchen to bake bread. It was very interesting.

Big mixing machine

This is an awesome machine, very old but it splits up the dough into even sized balls for bread buns.

Very yummy fresh bread.

And hot cross buns.

Pamela is the girl that started at the same time as me. We didn't know where to go for lunch one day so we started asking for recommendations. Now we have so many that we have decided to try them all and rate them. So I have started a blog and we have a speed sheet which shows 9 different categories by which we rate each place. So if you want to check it out here's the link: http://lunchtimecritics.blogspot.co.nz/

Boss is keeping well. Loves coming to visit.

It was very cute to talk to mr Isaac and his mum and dad this morning (very early) happy birthday little man. Hope you have a great day.

Hmmm just had breakfast brought to me in bed. That's all for now.

First day

I had my first day at Goodman Fielder yesterday. It wasn't too strenuous. Started with a few meetings then a walk to the supermarket to look at all the different products. The afternoon was spent in Puhoi at the cheese factory doing a tour though the factory and then a cheese tasting.

Nelson Street

Puhoi cheese factory

Lovely place for an afternoon drive

Bad photo but lovely cheese

I even tried the blue cheese

That was it really, don't know why people complain about going to work. It seems pretty easy to me. But maybe I'm just good at it.

I'm off to the quality baker factory tomorrow. That should be interesting too.

It's been amazing weather this week, I'm starting to get use to not having Uni. I met up with a friend from Uni at mission bay one evening,

We tried the new ice cream place, Kiwiyo, you fill a tub up all sorts of different flavours and then top it off with lollies and fresh fruit, not that mine had any fruit. Very yummy!!

This week the Korean War ships were in Auckland, so I took Marco and Leo for a look, they were very cool!

Marco quite liked the guns

Mr. Leo still a wee cutie,

Look at all my teeth

I'm house sitting for Caroline's mum for the next week, it's a lovely wee villa.

Lovely back garden

Hmmm what a busy week.
